Shalom,
Happy New Year!
I welcome you once again to 2018 with the Joy of Jesus Christ. It’s a new 52 weeks of promises and hopes in God. As usual, we know many are in the business of making New Year resolutions, therefore, we always like to give you some useful tips for the year through the grace of God. This time, we shall look and some secrets deposited by Jesus Christ in these eight tips

Luke 12: 1. Meanwhile, the crowds grew until thousands were milling about and stepping on each other. Jesus turned first to his disciples and warned them, “Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees—their hypocrisy. The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!

Beloved, let us treat hypocrisy like a plaque this year and let us choose to be known for God. Choose to firmly stand for God, His truth and His righteousness and see what God will do with our lives. Shun all form of double personality with God that could hinder his move in your life.

Luke 12:4 “Dear friends, don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot do any more to you after that. But I’ll tell you whom to fear. Fear God, who has the power to kill you and then throw you into hell.[a]Yes, he’s the one to fear.

God is the only one that has power over life and death; then fear God not man.

Luke 12: 15 Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.

If you still take pride in the abundance of your wealth, what a shame! If you only focus in acquiring wealth as a mark of social status even at the detriment of your soul, what a waste! In 2018, let your wealth be in how much you serve God and man with your resources.

Luke 12:20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! You will die this very night. Then who will get everything you worked for?’21 “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.”

Riches are good, but only when it’s toward God. Be a giver this year; give to the poor, the needy, the underprivileged and God’s kingdom works. None of the wealth shall follow you out of this earth and who knows what will become of them afterwards? More importantly, know God richely.

Luke 12:31 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.

Well, you have been hearing this all your life. If you have been putting the cart before the horse, how much has it worked? Re-prioritize this year.

Luke 12:33 “Sell your possessions and give to those in need. This will store up treasure for you in heaven! And the purses of heaven never get old or develop holes. Your treasure will be safe; no thief can steal it and no moth can destroy it

As a Christian, there is no better place to invest than in God’s kingdom.

Luke 12:40  You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.”

Well, again and again, Jesus is coming back soon-don’t get carried away

Luke 12:48 But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.

Whatsoever God has given you-wealth, talent, wisdom, or even the gospel that brought you salvation, it’s not for you alone but for you to bless others with. God will demand account.

Have a God-filled and good year
