With all Sense of Gratitude
Calvary greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus
Christ.
It brings great pleasure to welcome you to the year 2020, a
new decade full of hopes, opportunities and great exploits. It is our prayer that
you shall enjoy God more now than before in Jesus name, Amen! Indeed, we at
Change of Taste Group (COT) enjoyed God´s mercy in the last year through your
prayers and support and hence, our sincere gratitude. We thank God for His
mercies and love; protection and provision; courage and strength to push
through 2019 with achievements. We also want to thank you for allowing the
grace and power of God to work through you in our support through your
devotions, prayers and financial supports to our programs. Needless to pray God
bless you for you are already blessed (Acts 20:35).
In appreciation of your support to COT, it is also very
needful to state how God, through you helped us in 2019;
1.
Daily
prayers: since 2014, God has helped COT in daily intercession for
mission, missionaries and nations. Many of you have been part of this and we
say thank you. Seed time and harvest time shall not cease (Genesis 8:22). We therefore,
call for more prayers in this year as the Lord will be leading us. Remember,
the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much (James 5:16).
2. COT
Education Support Scheme: through donations from you, we have been able
to support a missionary child (Grace) in 2019 in her education. We thank God
through you for this little beginning as we hope to increase from a ward to two
(or even more) by the new academic session in 2020. We have strong faith in God
to bless you abundantly even for us (Philippians 4:15-19).
3. December
Outreach: COT was able to partly support a sister organization, Poised and Virtuous Ladies, for outreach to Motherless
Babies Home in Akure, Nigeria tagged ´Save One´, during the festive season of
December, 2019. Again, this was made possible through your generous donations
and we hope God enlarge our coast this year (Ephesians 3:20).
4. Other
mission supports: although we could not commit to some other mission
supports as in the past due to limited support, we trust our God to open
greater doors of opportunities for us this year to resume such supports. In the
past, we committed to direct support to mission works (The Kingdom Project,
Calvary Ministries) and children of Christian martyrs (Stephen children’s
home). These we trust God will resume even in 2020 (Mark 9:23).
Indeed, 2020 holds so much promises and the kingdom of God
shall rejoice. We therefore, invite you to join us again as we continue in the
business of our Father. We also welcome more people to support us both in
prayers and substance. Our group of intercessors is ever welcoming and our
needs can be met by God through you.
Wishing you a prosperous year 2020 full of God’s blessings.
